We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced VP of Product to own our product vision, while building a team of world class Product Owners, Managers and UXers to help us take the Worksome product to a global audience of clients and freelancers. You’ll join our growing team of approx. 20 people, and work closely with our founding team. Further, we are backed by a group of strong investors and you’ll be an early, core-member of the team; in it for the long-run, part of the ups and downs and prepared to give it all you’ve got!
Responsibilities
- Capture the product vision and maintain the product roadmap
- Initially manage the requirements, backlog and prioritisation
- Lead process for new hires for a team of product managers, product owners and UX people.
- Lead a future team of product managers, product owners and UX people.
- Take responsibility for team performance
- Collect and manage feature requests for the product
- Collaborate with our Head of Customer Success on defining product needs and ideas
- Collaborate with our VP of Engineering on implementing product ideas.
- Allocation of engineering effort together with CTO / VP Engineering
- Provide product details and updates for marketing
About You
- 7-10 years of experience in leading and growing Product teams
- 5+ years creating, growing and delivering new digital products
- Strong background in project management and delivery of digital products and services, ideally to global audiences
- Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make business decisions.
- Experience communicating insights and ideas
- Experience launching new products to scale
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working closely with Engineering, Customer Success and Marketing teams
Importantly, we’d love you to have been part of a journey similar to our forthcoming journey. You’ll have spent time in start-up environments, growing from a small founding team to bigger geographically-disparate teams.
